When should I see a Stomaltherapist?

It is recommended that you have six monthly checkups with your Stomaltherapist. If you are experiencing any of the following issues you should see a Stomaltherapist as soon as possible:

  • Sore skin
  • Leaking products
  • Odour
  • Products “falling off”
  • Wear time of your product has changed
  • Any visual changes to your stoma or skin
  • Any lifestyle changes or issues
